Save Lives through Comprehensive, Smoke-free Workplace Policies
- ACS CAN advocates for comprehensive smoke-free policies at the state and local level to protect all Mississippi workers from the dangers of secondhand smoke. Everyone has the right to breathe smoke-free air and no one should have to choose between their health and a good job.
- The best way to reduce exposure to secondhand smoke is to make all public places and workplaces 100 percent smoke-free. Although over 100+ Mississippi communities currently have comprehensive smoke-free policies, these account for only about 30 percent of the state's population.
