Philip R. O’BrienPhilip R. O’Brien is a member of the ACS CAN Board of Directors. He served on the American Cancer Society Wisconsin Leadership Board from 2011 through 2019, including a two year term as Chair, and was a member of the ACS Midwest Division Board of Directors. Mr. O’Brien first became involved with the Society through Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign in 2005 and has served as chair of that event since 2007. Mr. O’Brien currently is the ACT! Lead for the 4th Congressional District of Wisconsin. 

Mr. O’Brien is an attorney and shareholder with Reinhart Boerner Van Deuren, S.C., in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is a lawyer in the firm's Employee Benefits and Litigation Departments, providing counsel to ERISA multi-employer health and pension funds. He recently served as Chair of the Professionals Committee of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans, and is a frequent speaker and author on the subject of employee benefits.   

Mr. O’Brien received his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from Marquette University.
