Addressing Health Disparities in Clinical Trials: (Link in title)

Clinical trials are a key part of cancer research, enabling the development of better drugs and treatments for cancer. Finding the right set of patients to conduct comprehensive and effective clinical trials in oncology is critical to giving all patients an equal opportunity to live a healthy life. Unfortunately, there are many barriers to achieving diverse clinical trial participation which have only been compounded by Covid-19. This expert panel, convened by AstraZeneca and ACS CAN, will identify those barriers along with potential solutions to achieve meaningful and scientific diversity in clinical trials.

Legislative Ambassador Guidebook:

Below is the generic (non-congressional district focused) version of the Legislative Ambassador Guidebook. The Guidebook is intended to be a resource for Legislative Ambassadors as they learn and grow into their new volunteer role. New Legislative Ambassdors will review the Guidebook with their ACT! Lead as part of their ACS CAN training. Please feel free to review the Guidebook before your training. However, we caution you that without the context of the training, the Guidebook may be overwhelming.
