Increase funding for Mary Brogan

We have the resources to help our friends and neighbors

Everyone needs access to cancer screenings, regardless of their income.

Florida provides free mammograms and pap smears to low- income or uninsured women through the Mary Brogan Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Project. Over 20,000 Floridian Women will be diagnosed with Breast Cancer this year.

If we keep the same funding in the 2022 budget, will only be able to cover 8% of eligible women in the state before the funding runs out. It is critical we act now to increase funding for the Mary Brogan Breast and Cervical Early Detection Program to $3 million dollars annually and help protect more of our friends and neighbors. Using your voice, we can urge lawmakers to support woman and increase funding for this vital program.

Join us in calling on the Florida Legislature to increase the funding for The Mary Brogan Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program to $3 Million dollars annually in order to protect women in Florida, while ensuring they have access to the lifesaving cancer screenings they need.
