Improving Quality of Life for Children with Cancer

Research has improved treatments and boosted survival in some types of pediatric cancer, but treatment toxicities still can cause significant suffering that continues into adulthood and can last a lifetime. New legislation in Congress would increase access to pediatric palliative care to improve the quality of life for kids fighting cancer and their families.
