Flecia BrownMy name is Flecia R. Brown and I have been a volunteer for ACS and ACS CAN for over 15 years. On December 23rd, 2005, I was diagnosed with stage lll, triple negative breast cancer. Since that time, I have lost many family members including my father and many friends to cancer. I live each day of my life by the second sentence of Luke 12:48 (NIV) From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked. I have been a volunteered for the Reach to Recovery Program, I sat on the Survivorship Committee for Relay for Life for Cobb Co. Georgia, I have been an ACT Lead for CD-6, CD-11 and now CD-14 in Georgia. I am also actively involved in getting people in my community out to vote. I am also an Evangelist and teacher at my church and in November 2021, I decided to go back to college to get a degree in Christian Studies through the College of Theology at Grand Canyon University. I have a daughter a son in law, 2 grandsons and a newborn granddaughter, I have a sister, 2 nieces and a great nephew who shares my birthday. I am blessed beyond measure and there is not a day that goes by that I am not thankful.
